Size dependent fields

Postby ren072 » 04 Jun 2012, 03:35

Hi,

Could be nice to have size dependent input fields so they don't overlap each other.

Thanks

You can help me to do it, if you will write the list with Variable Type : GUI field length (in pixels)
In most cases, I can't calculate it automatically.

Are you talking to holyjewsus? Because I personally don't understand what you mean.

I think he means like

int: 100 px
float: 150px
double 300px

something like that

As I don't understand what is Variable Type : GUI field length, I assume you're not talking about visual coding , but more about modifying Universe. Am I correct?

Yes.
Variable types is : Vector2, Vector3, float, int, strin and etc.
GUI field lenght is the lenght in pixels for opened gui controls in work area.

Mmmh, not easy, as anyone would have different needs.
Otherwise, would it be possible to manually resize the fields with your mouse once it's displayed in your graph?

Thanks

Well, may be. But whether it would be convenient ?

Not as convenient as something automatic, but the graphs would clearly be more readable if all the fields were not overlapped.
