Need to change a Vizio.Variable's Name

Postby Viziopleasure » 06 Apr 2011, 21:55

I'd like to know if I could "unprotect" the .Name value of a Antares.Vizio.Variable object.
If so, how could I do that?

When I create a Block, a variable's name is like in your samples:
Syntax:
Using csharp Syntax Highlighting
[Parameter(VariableType.Out, typeof(something), Name = "Instance")]
public Variable myVariable;
Parsed in 0.005 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

I'd like to be able to do this:
Syntax:
Using csharp Syntax Highlighting
[EntryTrigger]
public void In() {
     myVariable.Name = "InstanceRealNameGoesHere";
}
Parsed in 0.005 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

But I can't do that due to protection issues. Any way to turn around it?
If thats not possible, no problem too. Thanks.

The real name can't be changed, bcz it is used for save variable value.

But you can use variable.DisplayName property. The "Name" property in attribute sets exact DisplayName.
