An Introduction to the basics of Antares Universe

The custom blocks code can be found in VIZIO\Prugins\Custom Blocks folder.

Wizard helper for creating Smart Block templates can be found in Antares menu.

Smart Blocks is a real Vizio power!

When you create your Vizio Graph, look for LB (Logic Blocks) everywhere except /UnityEngine folder (as we have a growing amont of smart blocks with high level functionality available).
If you can't find the block you need, then look for low-level blocks in /UnityEngine folder.

Undo/Redo hasn't been implemented yet.

We recommend Undocking Inspector and then docking it into any other window (Inspector can be docked into Vizio window too), because when it's in a default position (docked) GUI bug can happen - the GUI elements sometimes won't have any display focus for entering text values (but BTW you can enter the value, the issue is with you not seeing it). There's no bug in the undocked state.

Hot Keys:

Ctrl + D = Dublicate selected blocks
Ctrl + LMB + Drag = Multiselect
Ctrl + Click = Select add or remove

Mouse over variables or LB + Enter = Select or Open (Open variables field in Work Area)

Ctrl + drag - multi select.
Ctrl + Click - add\substract the selection.
Ctrl + D - duplicate the block.
Ctrl + A - Select all LB's
Ctrl + Space - restore default variables position for all selected LB's
Mouse Scroll Wheel - zoom.
Press Mouse Wheel - zoom reset.

If Inspector is in the Undocked mode (in a separate window) then Mouse Wheel Press will change focus to Inspector Window if mouse cursor is over a block.

Balls \ circles above a blocks - are input variables.
Balls \ circles below a block - output variables.

OUT triggers execution (in every block) is performed from top to bottom (if there're lots of OUT triggers).
Blocks are executed from left to right.

Important folders:
Activators
Bool
Variables
VIZIO
Workflow
FSM (if you like FSM)

SmartBlocks folder gets all the self-written blocks (the blocks you've written yourself or borrowed from a friend).

Q: How to get or set a variable?
A:
1. Use a block for getting\setting values in MonoBehaviours: MonoBehaviour Wizard -> Set Value
2. Use a Universal block for working with any .NET class: Universal Wizard -> Set Value
Note: both blocks can be converted to getters.

Blocks which are able to work with multiple types of variables can be quickly assigned by Drag & Drop.
To quickly assign the type of a block just drag any variable (from any other block) onto its body. The block will get the corresponding type. Also the block will get the type of the fisrt shorcut you assign to it.
